Sweet and Sour Meat Balls

Ingredients:


500 g of ground beef


¼ cup of Amazonia® Pineapple Bliss Sauce


3 tablespoons of oil


1 small chopped onion


1 small chopped sweet pepper


2 tablespoons wheat flour


2 tablespoons of brown sugar


1 tablespoon cornstarch


1 tablespoon of soy sauce


3 tablespoons of Amazonia® Pineapple Bliss Sauce


300 g of canned pineapple cut into cubes


½ cup of pineapple juice


Preparation:


Mix the ground meat with the Amazonia® Pineapple Bliss Sauce, form small balls of meat and

cover them in flour.


In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the meat balls until browned,

drain them and reserve.


In the same pan, add the rest of the oil, sauté the chopped onion and sweet pepper for about 7 minutes.

Add the cornstarch, soy sauce, Amazonia® Pineapple Bliss Sauce, the brown sugar and the

pineapple with its juice. Mix well and let cook for 2 minutes.


Add the meat balls and let cook for 5 more minutes.


Chef suggestion:


Serve with white rice.
