Chicken skewers with onion and Pineapple Bliss sauce

Ingredients: (for 4 servings)

1. Chicken:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts.

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 green pepper

  • 3/2 cup of Amazonia Pineapple Bliss Sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Sticks for skewers.

Preparation of skewers:

Cut the chicken breasts into strips and the peppers into large squares. Place the chicken strips in a deep bowl. Cover them with Amazonia Pineapple Bliss Sauce, salt and pepper and let them marinate for 1 hour. Then put them on the wooden sticks, alternating a strip of chicken, a red paprika, chicken, green paprika and so on. Pre-heat grill and place the skewers, go turning them until the chicken is cooked. (About 20 min)

2. Sauce:

  • 4 medium onions

  • 1 cup of Amazonia Pineapple Bliss Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

  • 2 tablespoons of water

  • 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.

  • 1 spoon of sugar.

  • Salt and white pepper to taste.

Preparation of the sauce:

Cut the onions into small buns, sauté them with olive oil over medium heat, without browning them. Add the other ingredients, including our Pineapple Bliss Sauce, and let reduce over low heat. Rectify the seasoning and reserve to serve with chicken skewers.
